Who Are We
The South Lake congregation was sent out as a new church planting January 8, 2012. The church presently meets at the 7th Day Adventist building at 100 Minnehaha Avenue in Clermont, Florida. Presently we are meeting for services at 4:30 P.M. on Sundays.
To give you some idea of our religious heritage we are in a broad sense a part of the
Restoration Movement from which the churches of Christ emerged and then from the churches of Christ, the International churches of Christ. We are a part of the fellowship known as the International churches of Christ.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God from which we draw our faith and practices. Our worship service consists of singing, praying, preaching and observing the Lord’s Supper each week. We have Bible classes (Sunday School) for pre-kindergarten through High School (At this time the teens and young teens meet once a month). You’ll find a warm, loving group of young families who are striving to honor God with their lives.
Every member is a part of a small “fellowship group that provides fellowship and teaching.
